☆ I lost voice! Voice dot is not showing!
There are a couple of things you can try.(Except when there is a real voice server problem)
1) Make sure your voice is activated in your Preferences setting, then go to Voice Echo Canyon
to see if the voice comes back.
2) Try moving to another sim where you know it has voice.(EX. Voice Echo Canyon)
Then log out from there and log back in to the same location. Wait for the voice to come back,
then move back to Cypris Village.
3) Open the folder in your PC Explorer ↓↓↓↓↓
●For SL Viewer> C:\Program Files (x86)\SecondLifeViewer
Find "slvoice.exe" and "SecondLifeViewer.exe", Right click each one, open to "Properties" >
"Compatibility" tab, tick☑ "Run this program as an administrator", Apply to close it.
●For Firestorm Viewer> C:\Program files\Firestorm-Releasex64\
Find "slvoice.exe" and "Firestorm-bin.exe", Right click each one, open to "Properties" >
"Compatibility" tab, tick☑ "Run this program as an administrator", Apply to close it.
4) If nothing seems to work, try changing the network channel.
First, Open Preferences from the "Me" menu. (or Ctrl key + p)
↓↓↓↓↓
●For SL Viewer>
"SetUp" tab → Check the "Custom Port" box → Port Number is 13000 by default.
You can set the number between "13000 - 13002" (no more than 13002 or less than 13000).
When you put in the new number, press OK.
*Then close the viewer and restart it. When you restart the viewer, you may need to
"Allow Access" to the new network setting at the beginning.
●For Firestorm Viewer>
"Network & Cache" tab → Check the "Custom Port" box → Port Number is 13000 by default.
You can set the number between "13000 - 13002" (Only up to 2 more than 13000).
When you put in the new number, press "Apply", "OK".
*Then close the viewer and restart it. When you restart the viewer, you may need to
"Allow Access" to the new network setting at the beginning.

☆ My voice is still too loud?
People tell you that your voice is too loud, or you see RED lights over your head when you speak.
The first thing you need to check is to open Preferences window. ( Press Ctrl + P on your keyboard).
Then go to Sound and Media tab. Press the button “Input / Output Devices“.
Move the volume slider to the left while speaking. Keep the green lights between 2-3. (No red lights).
Close the Device window and press OK to close the Preferences.
If your voice is still too loud, then maybe you need to check your Sound Property in your computer’s
Control Panel. (Windows)
Check this video on how to control your microphone volume on your computer.
☆Video: How to Change Microphone Volume in PC
I usually set this volume level around the middle (43-50%).
If it is 100, you are in trouble.
---------------------------
☆People hear echo / feedback from my mic.
Probable causes:
1) You are using speakers on your computer. Use only headphones/earphone.
2) Your Stereo Mixer is set up on your Audio property. You need to turn it off.
3) If you are using headphones, and not speakers, no Stereo Mixer on, maybe it is just your "Master Volume"
setting is too high. Open Preferences - Sound and Media - turn down the Master Volume to about 75%.
There may be other causes that I'm not aware of, but quite often these three are the main problems.
--------------------------------------------------
Tip: If someone tells you that they hear loud noises from your mic, your voice is breaking,
or they hear feedback from your mic, go to VOICE ECHO CANYON to hear your own voice.
You can only hear your voice there, so check how you sound like to others.
